Carina e-mailed me a few weeks ago that she wanted to book a loveshoot for the 8 year anniversary with hubby David. She had booked a mini getaway and wanted to surprise him. She managed to keep it quiet up untill a few days before the shoot when she accidentaly left her e-mail open and David saw our e-mails :)
I was SO thrilled to be asked to document this special moment in their lives because Carina and David are actually weddingphotographers themselves. We met at the Mike Larson workshop back in November and stayed in touch through Facebook. They are the sweetest people and I absolutely ADORE them. The shoot was a breeze, they completed rocked it in front of my lens. The ever lovely Katie Larcombe did Carina's hair and make-up and since it was really hot outside, Katie joined us in Rotterdam on the shoot to be on hand with make-up for tiny adjustments.
We did the shoot around Hotel New York and opted for spots in the shade only since the heat in the sunshine was a bit too much too handle for all of us.
Carina and David, I cannot thank you enough for giving me the honor to document this special moment in your lives. I absolutely adored every minute of our afternoon! xo
Carina mailde me een paar weken geleden dat ze graag een loveshoot wilde boeken voor haar 8-jarige anniversary met manlief David. Ze had een mini break geboekt en wilde hem graag verrassen. Het lukte haar om het volledig stil te houden voor David tot een paar dagen voor de shoot toen ze per ongeluk haar e-mail open had laten staan en David onze mailwisseling zag :)
Ik was ZO blij gevraagd te worden om dit bijzondere moment in hun leven voor ze vast te leggen want Carina en David zijn zelf namelijk ook bruidsfotografen. We ontmoetten elkaar afgelopen november tijdens de workshop van Mike Larson en zijn via Facebook met elkaar in contact gebleven. Het zijn zulke ontzettend lieve mensen en ik ben DOL op ze. De shoot ging van een leien dankje en ze waren rockstars voor mijn lens. De superlieve Katie Larcombe heeft het haar en de make-up voor Carina verzorgd en omdat het zo ontzettend warm was buiten, ging Katie gezellig mee naar Rotterdam om tussendoor de make-up bij te kunnen werken.
We hebben de shoot rondom Hotel New York gedaan en gezien de hitte in de volle zon, hebben we de mooie, schaduwrijke plekjes opgezocht.
Carina en David, ik kan jullie niet genoeg bedanken voor de enorme eer om dit bijzondere moment in jullie leven vast te mogen leggen. Ik heb genoten van iedere minuut van onze middag samen! xo
