The East Coast

Besides visiting New York City a couple of times, I never visited the East Coast before. I felt like I had stepped right into Gilmore Girls and Lorelai and Rory would pop up randomly somewhere. The trees still had the amazing colours due to Fall and it was just gorgeous.
Due to the wedding of Jessica and Mike we stayed near Philadelphia and decided to head into the city to tour around.
I totally recognized the Philly skyline instantly from watching Cold Case :) (yes I was such a huge Cold Case fan and still watch reruns when there's nothing else to watch..). Philly was gorgeous! We did however end up on the wrong side of Philly by mistake and that made us feel even more like Cold Case when dudes were crossing the street with guns in their jeans... We got out alive though without any scratches and laughed about it afterwards and to be honest, meeting detective Valens wouldn't have been such a bad thing ;)

Since we had seen the old prison, Eastern State Penitentiary so often on tv (yes we love Ghost Hunters aswell) we couldn't resist a visit to the old prison. Al Capone resided there once aswell and his cell is still furnished. A very cool place to visit and I would have loved to have done a photoshoot there :)
