The one where I travelled solo { Greece & Austria }

A few months ago I received an e-mail from my friend in Vienna, Claire Morgan, who's an amazing weddingphotographer. She asked me if I was available to second shoot an amazing 4 day wedding in Greece and Austria with her. Luckily, the weekend was still open and I happily accepted.
Last weekend was the weekend and it was amazing. A whirlwind trip with just 24 hours on gorgeous Santorini and 3 amazing days at Schloss Fuschl near Salzburg.
I'd never been to Greece before and Santorini did not disappoint. It was everything I pictured Greece to be with white houses, blue domes of the churches and amazing blue water everywhere you looked. I had a little bit of time to explore the area around our hotel before we headed back to Austria. I hadn't been to Austria since I was 5 I believe so seeing this beautiful country again was actually quite a new experience for me aswell.
It looked just like the Sound of Music!
Schloss Fuschl is simply stunning and if you're looking for a romantic weekend get-away with your love, go here! I'm certainly going back with the hubs in the near future.
Travelling solo is not something I do often but I managed with all the luggage and gear and made some new friends along the way too! Me and airport security were not friends on this trip though. Schiphol airport made me unpack my entire camera bag (litterally everything had to be taken out right in front of everyone around me, just awesome...) and Salzburg airport made me throw away half of my cosmetics since I had two little bags with liquids in my handluggage and was travelling solo. Seriously, one little bag only for all cosmetics when you only have handluggage and no checked luggage? That rule must have been made by a guy ;)

Many thanks to Claire for inviting me on the trip and also to the lovely ladies of Prime Moments and Ewalis Emotions for making me feel so welcome!

Here are a few photos I took while exploring both areas.
