Jamie and Ryan met years ago while they were still in high school. Jamie is Dutch, Ryan is Australian. They met in Africa during travels with their parents. They fell in love but since they were so young, decided to see what else the world had to offer them. Fast forward to years later when Ryan was travelling through Europe and met Jamie again in Holland. They discovered their love was still there and sparks started to fly again. Jamie moved to Australia and they've been going strong ever since.
Since Jamie's family is a bit bigger than Ryan's family, they decided to have their wedding in Holland, plus Jamie also had her heart set on marrying in the same City Hall her parents got married in years ago.

About 27 guests flew in from Australia to join in the festivities. It was an amazing day with beautiful sunny weather. The ceremony took place in the City Hall in Haarlem, after which we headed to Het Oude Slot in Heemstede for the remainder of the day. Ryan is hilarious. I'm not lying, he had us in stitches so many times. Even when culling through the photos, I started to laugh again. Check out the photo of him with his groomsmen where he's trying to audition for a boyband.

Jamie and Ryan, we had a blast with you! Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your beautiful day and for your trust booking us from across the globe. Have an amazing honeymoon in New York (buy extra suitcases, you'll need them after shopping there..!) and Barbados! We wish you so much love and happiness for your future together. Much love xo

Jamie en Ryan onmoette elkaar jaren geleden toen ze beide nog op de middelbare school zaten. Jamie is Nederlandse, Ryan is Australier. Ze leerden elkaar kennen in Afrika tijdens het reizen met hun ouders. Ze werden verliefd maar omdat ze beide nog jong waren, besloten ze eerst te kijken wat de wereld hen nog meer te bieden had. Spoel door naar jaren later toen Ryan door Europa aan het reizen was en Jamie weer ontmoette in Nederland. De liefde bleek er nog steeds te zijn en de vonk sloeg weer over. Jamie verhuisde naar Australie en ze zijn sindsdien onafscheidelijk.
Aangezien de familie van Jamie wat groter is dan de familie van Ryan, besloten ze om in Nederland te trouwen. Daarnaast wilde Jamie ook ontzettend graag in hetzelfde stadhuis trouwen als haar ouders destijds.

Ongeveer 27 gasten vlogen over vanuit Australie om deze feestelijke dag mee te maken. Het was een heerlijke dag met prachtig, zonnig weer. De ceremonie vond plaats in het stadhuis van Haarlem waarna we doorgingen naar Het Oude Slot in Heemstede waar de rest van de dag plaats zou vinden. Ryan is ontzettend grappig. Serieus waar, we hebben zo vaak in een deuk gelegen om hem. Zelfs bij het uitzoeken van de foto's, schoot ik weer steeds in de lach. Kijk vooral naar de foto van hem met zijn groomsmen waarbij hij auditie doet voor een boyband.

Jamie en Ryan, we hebben het super gehad met jullie! Heel veel dank dat we jullie prachtige dag mochten vastleggen en voor jullie vertrouwen in ons door ons van zo ver weg te boeken. We wensen jullie een fantastische huwelijksreis in New York (koop vooral extra koffers, die heb je nodig na shoppingtrips daar..) en Barbados! We wensen jullie ontzettend veel liefde en geluk toe voor jullie toekomst! Veel liefs xo
