Where do I begin describing this fabulous wedding? I could start with the gorgeous styling, the killer shoes or the cowboyboots. I won't though as I want to start by saying how simply amazing this couple is. Ray and I had SO much fun with Jojanneke and Jaap-Jene aswell as with their guests. We felt so welcome the entire day, it was simply wonderful.
When Jojanneke first e-mailed me to inquire about my availability for their wedding one of the first things she said to me was: "I read on your site that you love wearing cowboyboots and that's a great thing for the venue we're getting married at". I knew instantly I'd love her. I was right!
I first had the pleasure of photographing them for their loveshoot just a few weeks ago. Friday May 25th was their big day at the lovely venue Fort Vuren. Since their parents still live two doors down from eachother, it was an easy start for me and Ray as I joined Jojanneke and Ray joined Jaap-Jene. Jojanneke's shoes rocked my socks off and she wanted a photo of her dress in the tree. Can I say that that makes for an awesome start of the day? They opted to do their first look in the garden underneath Jojanneke's favorite tree.

We travelled by water-taxi to Fort Vuren for a coupleshoot for which Jojanneke brought her cowboyboots. They had their hearts set on an outdoors ceremony and the weather was simply stunning that day so outdoors it was! Jojanneke found a lot of inspiration (and me!) on Style me Pretty and she had crafted so many cute details. The ceremony was very personal and filled with a lot of laughter. Lotte, Jojanneke's sister, had made the weddingcake. The theme for the day was "live in love" with themecolour blue. A wonderful combination!

Waar zal ik beginnen met deze fantastische bruiloft te omschrijven? Ik kan starten met de prachtige styling, de waanzinnige schoenen of de cowboylaarzen. Dat doe ik niet want ik wil beginnen met zeggen hoe waanzinnig dit koppel is. Ray en ik hebben het ZO leuk gehad met Jojanneke en Jaap-Jene alsook met hun gasten. We voelden ons de gehele dag zo welkom, het was geweldig.
Toen Jojanneke mij voor het eerst mailde om te vragen of ik beschikbaar was op hun trouwdatum, was een van de eerste dingen die ze zei: "ik las op je site dat je graag in je cowboylaarzen staat en dat komt heel goed uit voor onze trouwlocatie Fort Vuren..."
Ik wist meteen dat ik haar geweldig zou vinden. Klopte helemaal!
Een paar weken geleden mocht ik ze al vastleggen voor hun loveshoot. Vrijdag 25 mei was hun grote dag eindelijk aangebroken op de leuke locatie Fort Vuren. Aangezien hun ouders nog steeds vlak naast elkaar wonen, was het een makkelijke start voor mij en Ray aangezien ik me bij Jojanneke voegde en Ray bij Jaap-Jene. Van de schoenen van Jojanneke werd ik extreem blij en ze wilde ook heel graag een foto van haar jurk in de boom. Ik moet even zeggen dat dat voor een geweldige start van de dag zorgt :) Ze kozen ervoor om elkaar voor het eerst te zien in de tuin, onder de favoriete boom van Jojanneke.

Per watertaxi gingen we vervolgens naar Fort Vuren voor de fotosessie samen waar Jojanneke haar cowboylaarzen voor mee had genomen. Ze wilden heel erg graag een buitenceremonie en aangezien het werkelijk prachtig weer was, kon dat gelukkig doorgaan. Jojanneke heeft veel inspiratie (en mij!) op Style me Pretty gevonden en ze had prachtige details zelf gemaakt en verzameld. De ceremonie was heel persoonlijk en vol met lachsalvo's. Lotte, de zus van Jojanneke, had de taart gemaakt. Het thema voor de dag was "live in love" met als themakleur blauw. Een fantastische combinatie!

Jojanneke en Jaap-Jene, we hebben zo'n fantastische dag met jullie gehad. Dank jullie wel dat we jullie geweldige dag hebben mogen vastleggen en dat jullie ons zo welkom hebben doen voelen. We wensen jullie ontzettend veel liefde, geluk en vreugde toe voor jullie toekomst! Veel liefs xo

Jaap's adorable cufflinks were from his grandfather.

Instead of rice or rose pettals, they opted for fresh lavender for their exit.
